Sylvia has sifted a ‘gold-mine of true-life stories from her own life and doesn’t mind letting the world ‘in’ on them! Sylvia has a unique ability to boldly share her faith, whether before a mainstream audience or within the Christian community. She has appeared on Fan Fair, the Music City News Awards Show, has worked with numerous country artist and was Goodwill Industries Spokesperson for the Southeast. Sylvia Harney has been honored to have spent time with many of America’s truly gifted comics who have gone before her, including: her close friend the late Minnie Pearl who introduced Sylvia to the Grand Ole Opry stage and who took her to meet the legendary George Burns who told Sylvia, “never give up, kid, never give up”; the incredible Red Skelton who shared personal stories from his own life and encouraged her to keep on; the legendary Jerry Clower who called Sylvia a great writer and a loyal feet-on-the-ground-friend.

Sylvia Harney is author of 'Married Beyond Recognition', a humorous look at marriage, and 'Every Time I Go Home I Break Out In Relatives' and is putting the finishing touches on a third book as well as six children’s books
